Celebrate your class, give back to Rutgers.
Then and now, your Rutgers ties are true. Alumni Weekend, which will be held on April 24 and 25, is a chance to renew your Rutgers connections. Giving back is an important part of the reunion tradition, and when you support your reunion class campaign, you share your enduring pride for your alma mater.
Not celebrating a reunion this year? Make a gift in an area that is meaningful to you!
What is reunion giving?
Reunion giving is a yearlong fundraising effort that takes place in the months leading up to your reunion celebration. If you want to participate in reunion giving, all you have to do is make a gift or pledge—of any amount and to any area—between July 1, 2014, and June 30, 2015. Gifts specifically designated to your class Reunion Campaign Fund will support your special class gift.
Why should YOU participate?
There are so many reasons to participate in Reunion Giving. Here are just a few:
Remember that any gift you make during your reunion year will count toward your class goals!
- Helping to shape the life of a student is a good return on investment.
- Alumni giving is reflected in college rankings, and a higher ranking will make your Rutgers degree more valuable.
- You want others to have the opportunities you had while at Rutgers.
- Every gift matters.
- You love Rutgers!

A Class Legacy Isn't Just Any Gift
It’s carefully built over time, and passed from one generation to the next. Thanks to your generosity, students are able to pursue their dreams as well as their studies. This special reunion year, we want to thank you for your gift and the impact you’ve made for current and future Rutgers' students.
